JOSEPH J. HERMAN, 76, of HOWELL, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, at home. Born in New York City, he lived in Freehold for most of his life. Mr. Herman was a math and science teacher for the Freehold Township schools. He was a member of the German-American German-American German-American Club, Howell, and the East Freehold Fire Company. Company. He was a leader for Troop 158, Boy Scouts of America, Freehold. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1672, Freehold. He was a communicant of St. Veronica's Church, Howell; and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Korean War. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Joseph Herman and Justin Herman; Herman; three daughters, Jessica Herman, Cheryl A. Herman, and Lisa A. Herman; and a grandson, grandson, Joseph Dylan Herman. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Ma-plewood Ma-plewood Ma-plewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold.
