Dover Township Trocchia, Carmela, Red Bank VanBrunt, Ruth M. Horner, Manasquan Weber, Lydia Frances Xenia, Bethesda. Md. Weissmann, Mabel, Berkeley Township FLORENCE S. GAUL, 93, of OCEANPORT, died yesterday at Eat-ontown Convalescent Center, Eaton-town.

Mrs. Gaul was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, and was a teacher in the Forrestdale School, Rumson, for 15 years until retiring in 1968. She was a member of the Montclair State College Alumni. She was also a member of the N.J.

Education Association and a member of the N.J. Retired Educational Association. Mrs. Gaul was born in Eatontown and was a lifelong resident of the Eatontown and Oceanport areas. Her husband, Walter, died in 1969 and she was predeceased by her son, William.

Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Joan H. Gaul, Chevy Chase, a sister, Gladys Lustbaum, Anaheim, and eight grandchildren. Braun Funeral Home, Eatontown, is in charge of arrangements. ROSE GOODMAN, 92, of how-ell TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at home. She was a musician who played the mandolin with several orchestras in New York.

She also performed as a soloist for several organizations in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Mrs. Goodman was born in Russia and came to the United States in 1910. She lived in New York before moving to Howell in 1938. Her husband, Samuel, died in 1979.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty Har-wood, Howell, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. C.H.T. Clayton Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, is in charge of arrangements. RICHARD GRIFFITH, 76, of red BANK, died Friday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a biochemist at Diamond Shamrock Harrison, for more than 30 retiring 11 years ago.

He grad JOHN PATRICK MC CORMICK, 55, of BRICK TOWNSHIP, who died Thursday, is survived by five grandchildren. His obituary in yesterday's Asbury Park Press incorrectly stated he was survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. WILLIAM J. MC DERMITT, 79, of Leisure Village East, LAKEWOOD, died Monday at Brick Hospital, Brick Township. He was a brewery worker at P.

Ballantine Sons, Newark, for 36 years, retiring in 1972. He was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood, and a member of Teamsters Local 843, Springfield. Mr. McDermitt was born in Newark and lived in Union before moving to Lakewood in 1988.

Surviving are his wife, the former Hilda Sager; a son, William Toms River, two daughters, Claire Schofield, Toms River, and Donna Voltolin, Logansville, two sisters, Frances O'Meara, and Grace Umstadter, both of Lakewood, and nine grandchildren. Cremation Service of Ocean, Brick, is in charge of arrangements. MARY C. HICKEY MC NALLY, 73, of Ortley Beach, DOVER TOWNSHIP, and Holiday, died yesterday at the Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. She was a secretary for the Essex County Planning Board, Newark, for 21 years, retiring six years ago.

She was member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society, Bioomfield, and former chairlady of the Bioomfield Democratic Club. She was also former chairlady of the Bioomfield County Committee. She was a member of the Bioomfield Senior Citizens and the Bioomfield Democratic Club. Mrs. McNally was born in Bioomfield and lived there most of her life, retiring to Ortley Beach and Holiday, six years ago.

Surviving are her husband, John three sons, Thomas Meadville, Kevin, Morristown, and Keith, Point Pleasant; a daughter, Patricia Chiarell, Branchburg; a brother, Stephen Hickey, Verona; a sister, Emily Ottlein, New Port Richey, and five grandchildren. O'Boyle Funeral Home, Bioomfield, is in charge of arrangements. ARNOLD R. O'NEILL, 60, of TOMS RIVER died Friday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a printer with Jersey City Print, Jersey City, for 15 years.

He also worked for the Hudson Dispatch in Union City and the Scott Printing of Jersey City. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and a member of the International Printing Graphic Union Local 612M, formerly 183C, for 37 years. Mr. O'Neill was born in Jersey City and lived there until moving to Toms River five years ago.

His son, Eugene died in 1988. Surviving are his wife, the former Katharine E. Left; two sons, Arthur Union, and Andrew Toms River; four daughters, Karen Annicchiarico, Jersey City; Cheryl and Patricia, both of Toms River, and Toni Ann, Bayonne; a brother, Richard, West Milford; three sisters, Doris Ryan, Edison; Jean Emslie, Parlin, Sayreville, and Diane Barba, Edison, and five grandchildren. He owned Ocean Finance Asbury Park, for many years before retiring. He was a member of Oakhurst B'nai B'rith, Ocean Township, and Temple Beth El, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.

Mr. Rabstein was born in Brooklyn and lived in Trenton before moving to the Point Pleasant area 40 years ago. Surviving are his wife, the former Shirley Wietecha; a son, Arthur, Toms River; a daughter, Lois Klieger, West-field; a sister, Sylvia West, Trenton, four grandchildren and several nephews and nephews. RODGERS, 79, of Crest-wood Village, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Friday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Rodgers was a secretary for W.L. Penn Sons, New York City, for 30 years retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Ladies' Residents Club Village 4.

She was born in Brooklyn and lived on Long Island, moving to Crestwood Village 1 5 years ago. Surviving are her husband, Leo Rodgers, and several nieces and nephews. 25 at Brick Hospital. She worked for the New York City Board of Education until retiring. She was a communicant of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. Mrs.

Saltray was a member of the Holiday City Association Organizations. Mrs. Saltray was born in Wood-bridge Township and lived in New York before moving to Holiday City at Silverton in 1969. Her husband, George, died in 1986. Surviving are a son, Robert G.

He was a salesman for F. M. Schaefer Brewing Company, New York, for 18 years, retiring 12 years ago. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Normandy Beach, Dover Township. Mr.

Sweeney was born in Newark and lived in Irvington before moving to Silver Beach 18 years ago. His wife, the former Helen. G. Kelly, died in 1989. Surviving are a son, Mark Freehold; two daughters, Sheila A.

Bence, Bayville, Berkeley Township, and Patricia A. Sweeney, Silver Beach; his mother, Mary A. MacGeorge Sweeney, Union, and a sister, Shirley McDonald, Union. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements. MABEL WEISSMANN, 94, of Bayville, BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, Bayville. Mrs. Weissmann was born in New York and lived in Lynd-hurst Township moving to Bayville 38 years ago. Her husband, Emil, died in 1978.

Surviving is a sister, Mildred McCarthy, Astoria, Long Island. O'Connell's Home for Funerals, Bayville, is in' charge of arrangements. BETHESDA, Md. Lydia Frances Xenia Weber, 58, an editor for the CIA, died Dec. 20 at home.

She was an editor of the National Intelligence Daily, the daily review of foreign news for the CIA. She began working with the CIA in the mid-1950s and spent most of her career in the Washington area as an analyst, according to her brother, Frank Joseph Weber Middle-town Township. She also served in Nigeria. She was one of the three editors for the information supplied to President Bush, Weber said. She was born in Manhattan and uated from Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y., with a biochemistry degree.

He was a member of American Translators Association and American Chemical Society. Mr. Griffith was born in Wynnwood, and moved to Red Bank in 1942. His first wife, the former Miriam Gleason, died in 1969. Surviving are his wife, the former Barbara Manna; a son, Richard III, Middletown Township; a daughter, Elizabeth Holmberg, Wayne, two brothers, Jack Pyle, Summit, and Robert Pyle, Reston, and four grandchildren.

Worden Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements. ROBIN P. HUGHES, 37, of tin-ton FALLS, died Friday at home. She was a psychiatric aide at the Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, Marlboro Township. She was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong Shore area resident.

Surviving are three daughters, Tara, Tamika and Tenaya, all at home; a brother, Darryl, Tinton Falls; a sister, Terriann Ellis, Long Branch, and her mother, Jean Hughes, Tinton Falls. She was a clerk for the Monmouth County Board of Elections, Freehold, where she had worked for 18 years before retiring six months ago. She was a communicant of St.

Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Mrs. LeMoine was born in Manalapan Township and had lived there before moving to Freehold more than 40 years ago. Her husband, Freehold Police Detective Anthony M. died in 1984.

LYMAN, 72, of sea GIRT, died Friday at Point Pleasant Hospital, Point Pleasant. Mr. Lyman was a chemical operator at Exxon Bayway Refinery, Linden, for 33 years, retiring 10 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church.

Mr. Lyman was a member of Elks Lodge, Manasquan. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a 1936 graduate of St. Patrick High School and a member of their "Wonder Five" basketball team, one of the state's most outstanding high school basketball teams.

He was born in Staten Island and lived in Elizabeth MC NALLY Mary C. (nee Hickey). on Saturday. Dec 29. 1990 of Ortley Beach and Holiday.

He was a member of the Lakehurst Presbyterian Church, the Woodcarvers' Guild of Leisure Village West, and the Deborah Hospital Auxiliary. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Baas was born in Dun more, and lived in North Caldwell before moving to Manchester eight years ago.

His son, Warren, died in 1978. Mr. Bartolf was born in Neptune and moved to Brick 19 years ago. She was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel, Lakewood, and of Congregation Wil-liamsbridge, the Bronx. She was born in Russia and immigrated to the Bronx in 1916, and moved to Lakewood eight years ago. Surviving are a son, Jack, Suffern, N.Y.; a daughter, Miriam Brooker, Englishtown; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eaton was born in New York and lived in Florham Park before moving to Leisure Village West 19 years ago. Mr. Gassmann was a self-employed painter and decorator, retiring in 1975. Mr. Gassmann was a member of Masonic Schiller Lodge 304, Whites-tone, N.Y. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and came to Queens in 1 923, and lived in Ridgewood before moving to Manchester in 1975.

Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Spengler, and his sister, Maria Maier, Whiting. Anderson Campbell Funeral Homes, Whiting, is in charge of arrangements. ALICE J. GNATZ, 90, Cedar Glen Lakes, Whiting, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Friday at home. Mrs.

Gnatz was a member of the Lakehurst United Methodist Church and a member of the Newark Female Charitable Association. She was a clerktypist for the Ocean County Library, Toms River, for three years, retiring in 1968. She also was a volunteer during World War II and a volunteer in the Samaritans Service in Cedar Glen Lakes. Mrs. Gnatz was born in Brooklyn and lived in North Jersey, Toms River and Long Beach Island before moving to Whiting in 1973.

Surviving are her husband, William two sons, William Chicago, and Robert Toms River; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, Whiting, is in charge of arrangements. ANN HOECHST, 82, of brick TOWNSHIP, on Friday, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mrs. Hoechst was a communicant of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Brick.

She was born in Union City and lived there before moving to Brick 35 years ago. She was the widow of Christian. Surviving are a son, Kenneth, Lake Worth, a daughter, Mary Lou Marshall, Norco, a sister, Mary Guarisco, Coatesville, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. O'Brien Funeral Home, Wall, is in charge of arrangements. SALVATORE MARINO, 91, of RED BANK, died Thursday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a tailor for Eisner Red Bank, for 35 years before retiring. He served in the Italian Army during World War I. He was a communicant of St.

Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Mr. Marino was born in Calabria, Italy, and lived in Red Bank most of his life. His son, Ralph, died in 1986. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Mazzucca; a son, Anthony, Little Silver; six grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove, and Greenwood Baptist Church, Brooklyn. Mrs. Shaw was born in Brooklyn and lived there until moving to Ocean Grove 23 years ago. Her husband, Dwight died in 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Marjo-rie E.

Duncan, Waconia, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ocean Grove Memorial Home, Ocean Grove, is in charge of arrangements. HENRY A. STEINES, 83, of SPRING LAKE, died yesterday at home. He was a claims adjuster for the Prudential Life Insurance Company for 46 years before retiring in 1 982.

He was communicant of St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, Spring Lake, and a member of the Monsignor Reilly Knights of Columbus 1056. Mr. Steines was born in Newark and lived in Belmar most of his life until moving to Spring Lake in 1982. Surviving is his wife, Mary B.

Ann's Society. She was a seamstress for the DeGennaro Manufacturers, Red Bank, for more than 20 years, retiring in 1962. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment's Workers Union. Mrs. Trocchia was born in Naples, Italy, and lived in Red Bank since 1929.

Her husband, Frank, died in 1968. Surviving are three sons, Andrew, Red Bank; Dominic, Little Silver, and Salvatore, West Long Branch; four daughters, Lena Rettagliata, Aberdeen Township; Josephine Brown, Middletown Township; Anna Hall, Annandale, and Frances DeArmond, Alexandria, 20 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren. She was a molderat Lapin Products, Wanamassa, Ocean Township, retiring in 1982. She was a member of West Belmar United Methodist Church, Wall Township. Mrs. VanBrunt was born in West Belmar and lived in Monmouth Beach before moving to Manasquan a short time ago. Her husband, John in 1952.
