Mrs. Acerra was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Long Branch Democratic Club and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Local 85.

Born in Red Bank she lived most of her life in the Long Branch area. Mrs. Acerra was predeceased by her husband Salvatore "Samuel" Acerra, in 1974, and a daughter Gelsomine "Dolly" Wilder, who died in 1982. Surviving are three sons, Louis Acerra and Samuel Acerra, both Long Branch, and Gene Acerra, West Long Branch; 15 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren. JOEL BLENDEN, 61, of Elizabeth, whose brother lives in OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday: at home. He was a self-employed real estate investor. He was a graduate of Asbury Park High School and William and Mary University. He was a member of Pi Lamda Phi and the Jewish Education Center, Elizabeth. He was a founder and scout master of Troop 613, Boy Scouts of America, Elizabeth.

Born in New York City, he lived in Hillside for 20 years before moving to Elizabeth 16 years ago. Surviving are three sons, Lawrence and Richard, both Fort Lee, and Allen, Emerald Hills, and a brother Paul, Ocean Township. DOMINICK BOZZA, 78, of MATAWAN TOWNSHIP died yesterday Day Funeral Home, Keyport, is in charge of arrangements. at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township.

He was a longshoreman with the International Longshoreman Association, Port Newark and Hoboken for 40 years, retiring in 1980. He was a communicant of the St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor, Old Bridge Township. He also was an Army veteran. He was born in Jersey City and moved to Matawan 20 years ago.

His wife Palma Grisi Bozza died i in 1987, and his son John Bozza died in 1984. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Maher of Brick Township; two brothers, Joseph Bozza of Iselin, Woodbridge Township, and Frank Bozza of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are two sisters Phylis Whelan and Jean Zlett, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. MARY CAHILL, 60, of Wyreka, formerly of KEYPORT, died Saturday at home. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Wyreka. Born in Hazlet Township, she lived in Keyport before moving to Wyreka eight years ago. Her brother, Perry Cahill, died in June. He was the attorney for the Millburn TownshipBoard of Adjustment from 1980 until the time of his death. He also served as the attorney for the township's Planning Board from 1975-1980, and for the State Board of Architects from 1958-1960. He worked for the Essex County prosecutors office from 1959-1971, and for the Army National Guard Major Judge Advocate General's Corps. from 1952-1972. Mr.

Ford was a partner in Carella, Citrano, Balsam and Ford, Nutley, from 1971-1977, and formed his own firm in East Orange in 1977. He graduated from Seton Hall University, South Orange, in 1950, and from Fordham University Law School, Bronx, in 1953. He was born in Newark, and lived there until he moved to Short Hills 31 years ago. He is survived by his wife Patricia Kelaher; four sons, Thomas P. III, New Brunswick, Joseph L.

and Kevin both of Short Hills, and Mark A. of Atlanta; a daughter, Karen P. of Hawaii; two brothers, John F. of West Orange, and Robert R. of Spring Lake, and two sisters, Geraldine Stabile of Bayonne, and Mary R.

HARTUNG, 88, of Bridge- water Township whose daughter-inlaw resides in FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday. She was employed for 22 years as a grand secretary of the Order of the Eastern Star in Orange, retiring six years ago.

She was a past grand matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the order's Mecca Chapter 19 formerly in Union City, Hopewell Chapter 112 and Guiding Star Chapter 36 of Cliffside Park. She was born in Jersey City and lived in East Orange for more than 25 years before moving to Bridgewater 13 years ago. Her husband, Arthur B. Hartung, died in 1971, and her son Arthur E. Hartung died in 1985.

Surviving are one daughter, Evalyn Gurney of Pine, three sisters, Ruth Dubois of Rutherford, Marion Loeffler of Lyndhurst Township, and Fern Spalt of Columbia, S.C.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. HILLIS, 75, of Staten Island, whose daughter lives in the Lincroft section, MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Doctor's Hospital, Staten Island. She was an accountant for Murphy-Pacific Shipping Manhattan, for 20 years, retiring in 1981.

Prior to this, she was an accountant at J.C. Penny, Staten Island, for five years. Mrs. Hillis was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Staten Island. Born in Staten Island, she was a lifetime resident.

Surviving are her husband, William three sons, William, Donald and Richard, all Staten Island; a daughter, Rosemarie Tupe, Middletown; two brothers, James Collins, California, and Joseph, Staten Island; three sisters, Marie Hernon, Dorothy Coleman and Peggy Hillis, all Staten Island, and two grandchildren. Joseph Minish of the 11th Congressional District, Orange, for 25 years retiring in 1981. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Vailsburg section of Newark, and a member of the Grotase Society, Newark, and the Racing Fans Club (Thoroughbred), Philadelphia. Mrs. Korejwo was born in Newark, and lived there before moving to Howell 11 years ago. She is survived by her husband Benjamin Korejwo, and two brothers, Sabby D.

MARILYN B. MAINO, 59, of the Belford section, MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township. She was a secretary for the Holmdel Board of Education, working at the Indian Hill School for 23 years. She was a member of the Glenwood Country Club, Old Bridge Township, and the Doris Day Animal League. Born in Newark, she lived in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township before moving to Belford 24 years ago.

Surviving are her husband, S. John; a son, Thomas, Atlantic Highlands; a daughter, Bobbi Maino, Shamong Township; her parents, Ernest and Sally Bambert, Berkeley Township; a sister, Marlene Brown, Toms River, and three grandchildren. "GARY" MALONE. 43, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mr. Malone was a warehouseman and for the past six months, was employed by Juldor Transport New Brunswick. He had served two enlistments in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Malone was born in Jersey City, and lived in California and Florida before moving to Freehold three years ago. Surviving are his wife, Marijane Mazzille, and his mother, Ruth Malone of Jersey City. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements. KENNETH W.

MANN, 82, of NEP- TUNE, died Tuesday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He worked for the Mount English Ford Red Bank, retiring in 1952. He was a communicant of St. Peter Claver Roman Catholic Church, Asbury Park, and was a former member of the Red Bank Board of Education. He was born in Orange County, N.Y., and had lived in Red Bank for 67 years before moving to Neptune.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Dr. Robert Mann of Neptune, and Kenneth Mann Jr. of Fair Haven; a daughter Margaret Evans of Neptune; two sisters, Cassandra Jackson of Fair Haven, and Isabelle Mann of Neptune, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. MILDRED S. MASON, 76, of MONMOUTH BEACH, died Tues- day at her home. She was a homemaker and member of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary, and member of the Sandpipers of Monmouth Beach senior citizens group. She was born in Elizabeth and moved to Monmouth Beach 45 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Stephen M.

Mason; three sons, Ronald Mason, Bokeelia, John Mason, Long Branch, and Carl Mason of Oceanport; a daughter, Joyce Ottino, Eatontown; a brother, Buddy Snedeker, Middletown Township; and three sisters, Cathering Mullen, Elizabeth, Isabelle Zeok, Largo, and Pat Liebrock, Ocean Township, and four grandchildren. He was a custodian at Neptune Junior High School for 20 years. Born in Belmar, he was a lifetime resident of the Shore area, moving to Neptune 35 years ago.

His wife, Carol Perone Rogers, died in 1977. Surviving are a son, Melvin C. with whom he lived; three daughters, Diane Rogers, Neptune, Donna Chesley, Jackson Township, and Denise Rogers, with whom he also lived; a brother, Le Roy Rogers, Jackson, and six grandchildren. Born in the Bronx, she lived in Lakewood before moving to Howell last year. Her husband, Albert, died in 1978. Surviving are a son, David, Las Vegas; seven daughters, Audrey Stanick and Rachel Steinitz, both Lakewood, Mary Steinitz of Toms River, Amanda Deacon of Florida, Amy Steinitz of Sea Bright, Leslie Mendez of California, and Allison Gonsalves of Howell, and six grandchildren. He was a textile manufacturer, operating Weaver Shower Curtains, Brooklyn, for more than 40 years, retiring in the mid-1970s. He was a member of the Covered Bridge Lodge, Knights of Pythias, and Seniors Chapter II, Covered Bridge. Born in Poland, he came to the United States about 1925, living in Bayside, N.Y. before moving to Covered Bridge three years ago. His wife, Bella, died in 1988.

Surviving are a son, Edward, New Rochelle, N.Y.; a daughter, Audrey Kotkin, Marlboro Township; a brother, Sidney, Florida; a sister, Ann Gorrin, California; three grandchildren and his companion, Evelyn Doktor. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, is in charge of arrangements. ANTHONY J. THOMORE, 80, of ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, died Care Center, Middletown Township. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Red Bank, where she was a deacon.

Born in New Orleans, she had lived in Red Bank since 1968. Her husband, George died in 1973, and her son, George C. died in 1978. AUGUSTA BIANCO, 71, of the Wanamassa section of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. She was a an office manager at U.B.S. Chemical, Allenhurst, for 12 years before retiring in 1988. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Asbury Park for many years before moving to Wanamassa.
