He worked for Keyport Banking and was assistant vice president of First Fidelity Bank, Keyport, and retired in 1973. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Keyport, a trustee and president of the board of trustees, a Sunday School teacher, superintendent and financial secretary, as well as a choir member. He was born in New York and lived in Keyport most of his life. His wife of 59 years, C. Lorraine Kaufer Carhart, survives with a son, Lawrence, San Diego, and a daughter, Carol, at home.

COMMISSO, 37, of HAZLET TOWNSHIP, died Friday at home. He was a heavy equipment operator for Zirnmer Excavating, Neptune, for two years. He was a 1975 Middletown North High School graduate. He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, North Middletown.

He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Lincroft, Middle-town Township, until moving to Hazlet eight years ago. 1 Surviving are his wife, Joann Shee-han Commisso; two daughters, Danielle and Theresa, at home, his father, Louis Commisso, Brick Township; his mother, Frances Commisso, Tinton WILLIAM T. WICHMANN 73, of MONMOUTH BEACH, a retired Superior Court judge in Monmouth County, died Friday at Parker Memorial Home, Piscataway Township. He served as a Superior Court Judge from 1973 until retiring in 1991. He was a lawyer for more than 20 years with Brinkley, Selbyville, and one granddaughter.

James H. Hunt Funeral Home, Asbury Park, is in charge of arrangements. HENRY H. NAPIER, 98, of KEY-PORT, died Friday at Bayshore Community Hospital Care Center, Holmdel Township. He was a conductor-engineer for Weyerhauser Klamath Falls, where he worked 40 years before retiring in 1962.

He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge 77, Klamath Falls, and a national life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Bly, Ore. He was born in Breathette County, and he lived in Bly before moving in 1991 to Keyport. His wife, Martha Allen, died in 1976. FLORENCE OPPERMAN of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, was born in Russia and came to America as a child living in New York and Clark until moving to Ocean three months ago. IRENE PAPPAS, 93, of Jacksonville, formerly of KEANSBURG, died Oct. 15 at Taylor Care Center, Jacksonville, Fla. She and her husband owned and operated a grocery store, Pappas' Grocery and Market, in Keansburg from 1945 to 1973.

She was born in Harrison and lived in Hazlet Township, Newark, and Keansburg until moving to Jacksonville five years ago. Her husband, Tom Pappas, predeceased her. Surviving are two sons, Robert Harriott, Union Beach, and Tom Pappas, Jacksonville; a daughter, Margaret Robinson, Jacksonville; 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was the owner and operator of the Rafferty Refrigerator Service, Paterson, from 1945 until the present time. He was an Army World War II veteran. He was a Long Branch High School graduate and was a member of the 1936-1938 football squad. He was born in Long Branch and lived in Long Branch and Paterson until moving to Fair Lawn 45 years ago.

She was 47.

Miss Lamurey died about 2 a.m. Wednesday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune Peter Burnham, president of Brookdale, said Miss Lamurey's 12-year tenure at the community college in Middletown Township literally changed the face of the institution through the hiring of minorities. "She was very successful in making us all aware that diversity is something to celebrate, not to find fault in," Burnham said. "In many respects I feel she was a pioneer in an institution where many people don't want to deal with that kind of thing." He worked 15 years as a motorcycle police officer for the New York Police Department and also worked in the Holland Tunnel, retiring in 1941. MARY E. MOTLEY, 72, of NEPTUNE, died Friday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Asbury Park, and its usher board. She was born in Jamesville, Va. and has lived in Neptune for over 40 years.

Her husband, William, died in 1973. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2648, North Bergen, and American Legion Post 493, Little Egg Harbor Township. He was a member of the Mystic Island Civic Association and the Red-men's Club Pohatcong Tribe 61, Little Egg Harbor. He was born in West New York and lived in Mystic Island until moving to Middletown this year.

CHARLES A. BANDELLI, 72, of Silver Ridge Park West, BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, died Friday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He worked for Consolidated Edison Electric N.Y., for 30 years until retiring in 1980 as a senior coordinator. He was an Army World War II veteran. He was a member of the Silver Ridge Park West Chapter, American Association of Retired Persons, Toms River.

He was born in Spring Lake and lived in Brooklyn until moving to Toms River in 1981. He was vice president and group publisher for CMP Publications, Manhasset, N.Y., for 17 years, and he retired in 1988.

He served in the Navy. He was born in Newark and he lived in Plainfield. He owned homes in Bernardsville and Mantoloking for the past six years.
