MRS. ERIC ARPERT OCEAN GROVE Mrs. Dorothy Poole Arpert, of 86 died Dec. 31 while visiting in Syracuse, N.Y. She was the widow of Eric Arpert.

Mrs. Arpert was the organizer of the Auxiliary to the Epworth Manor, formerly the Bancroft Taylor Home, here, and was president during her 15 years of service to the group. She was a member of St. United Methodist Church, here, and the church's Selby Circle, United Methodist Women and Philathea Class. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.

Dorothy Skaar, Syracuse, Mrs. Janet A. Davison, Washington, D.C.: a brother, Herbert P. Poole, Brooklyn; a sister, Miss Fanny C. Poole, Brooklyn; 11 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

A son, Eric, died last year. The Ocean Grove Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements, SILVIO D'ALOIS LAVALLETTE Silvio D'Aloia, 87, 121 Washington died yesterday at home. He owned and operated the an Wine and Liquor Store in Newark, and retired in 1956. He was a communicant of St. Bonaventure's Roman Catholic Church.

The charges stem from a series of incidents New Year's morning in the Leonardo section. Elizabeth A. Buck, 80, of 57 Cliffside Drive, died yesterday at Toms River Convalescent Center. She was the widow of Forrest W. Buck Sr. She had been choir director, assistant organist and soloist at the Methodist and Lutheran churches in Connellsville, Pa.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP of Keansburg, died Cecis, Leroy Truax 58, Tuesday at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank. Mr. Truax had resided in this area all of his life. He had been employed as a chemical worker by N.L. Industries, Sayreville.

Anne Marie Jones, 50, of 5 Railroad died Tuesday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She is survived by her husband, Herbert R. Jones; seven sons, Hall, here; John, Moosut, Glenn, Toms River; Albert, Seaside Heights; Herbert, Robert and $5,000 in property damage between the hours of 2 and a.m. New Year's Day, according to Detective Capt. Robert M.

Letts. The local youth, 16, was released to his parents' custody last night; the North Carolinian. 17, was being held in the county Juvenile Shelter. Their names were not disclosed by police. The youths allegedly used garbage cans, rocks, a flagstone, and a rail from a split-rail fence to smash windows at the Cumberland Farms and Kim Printing stores on Leonard avenue and at private homes on Leonard, Vanderbilt, and Brevant avenues.

In addition, they are accused of damaging a state police vehicle parked on Beach avenue; destroying the bulletin board in front of the Leonardo Baptist Church, and flattening tires on private cars and on two vehicles parked at the Leonardo Post Office. Capt. Letts said the youths were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incidents. TEX RITTER Singer Tex Ritter, Country Music Star NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Country music star Tex Ritter died last night of a heart attack while visiting a friend at the county jail, police said.

Ritter singer, guitarplayer, actor and politician was 67. Davidson County Sheriff Fate Thomas said Ritter was stricken while visting a friend who had been jailed for nonpayment of alimony. Police administered oxygen and rushed Ritter to Baptist Hospital, where he died, Thomas said. Hospital officials said Ritter suffered a massive coronary a and died in the emergency room at 7 p.m. Ritter's hit records included: "High Noon," "Boll "Wayward Wind," "Hillbilly Heaven" and "You Are My Sunshine." Ritter starred in 78 movies in his 12-year Hollywood career and appeared in television Westerns, such as "The Rebel" and "Zane Gray Theater." But he won most of his awards in the country music field, and was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1964.

Ritter, a transplanted Texan who lived in Nashville, was a familiar sight in both political and musical circles with his big smile and 10- gallon hat. His career began in the 1930s with radio shows. Later in the decade, Hollywood beckoned. the 1950s he had appeared in more than 50 Westerns for Monogram, Columbia and Universal. In 1970 Ritter sought the U.S.

Senate seat of Democrat Albert Gore, was defeated in Tennessee Republiprimary by Rep. Bill Brock. Only three weeks ago, the country and western entertainer went to Washington to present President Nixon with a special recording. There were only two copies of the album, which was composed of Nixon's speeches with narration by Ritter. The second copy was given to the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
