Barbara B. Bierach, 58, of 1 Wanamassa Point died yesterday. Mrs. Bierach moved here from Atlantic City 27 years ago. She had been a social worked for the Ocean Township School System for the.

past eight years. She was a graduate of Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa. and Noble Sissle, Songwriter TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -Noble Sissle, composer and orchestra leader during America's Big Band era of the 1920s and 30s, died here yesterday after a long illness. He was 86.

Sissle suffered a stroke about 10 years ago and his health gradually declined. About three years ago, he MRS. JOSEPH HARRIS MATAWAN Mrs. Eldiest Harris, 76, of 18 Atlantic died yesterday. She was the widow of Joseph Harris.

She was born in Georgia, and moved here 49 years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cornelia Jones and Mrs. Eldiest Johnson, both of Newark, and Mrs. Ezella McCarthon, Los Angeles; four sons, Arzell, Neptune, Alvin, here, Joseph, Newark, and Daniel, LEO J.

KRAI'S BRICK TOWNSHIP-Leo John Kraus, 90, of 37 Pilot Drive, died yesterday. He retired in 1954 as a machinist for Woods Newspaper Equipment Plainfield. Mr. Kraus came here from Plainfield 12 years ago. His wife, Mrs.

Katherine Kraus, died in 1963. Surviving are three sons, John North Plainfield; Walter here, and Chester Brid-gewater Township; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The Van Hise and Callagan Funeral Home, here, is in charge of arrangements. Nine foreign vessels now have been seized by the Coast Guard off the East Coast this year, resulting in $1.3 million in penalties paid to the U.S. government.

For the 70-man crew of the Tamaroa and its captain, Cmdr. Stanley Mincks, this is the third fishing vessel they have brought in since July, the spokesman said. Trees Stolen From Lawns Two evergreen trees that yesterday morning graced the lawns of the Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls and a private home in Long Branch have been reported stolen. NEWARK A Spanish fishing vessel seized by the Coast Guard for allegedly taking lobsters from the Continental Shelf was escorted into Port Newark this morning. The matter will be turned over lo the United States attorney for New Jersey for prosecution in U.S. Distric Court. The trawler Teucro was taken into custody 70 miles southeast of Atlantic City at 6 p.m.

A Coast Guard spokesman said the seizure was made after a boarding team on a routine inspection of the ship found assorted parts of cooked and frozen lobster. Penalties that may be levied against the vessel's owners are forfeiture of ship and cargo.

LOUIS KUCIK DOVER TOWNSHIP -Mrs. Anna Vahock Kucik, of 2228 Mt. Hood Lane, died yesterday. Mrs. Kucik moved here from Duncanville, five years ago.

He lived here 10 years and was formerly of Rosedale, N.Y. Mr. Gibbs was a retired salesman from Rogers Peet Company, New York. He was a World War I Army veteran. Surviving is his wife, Mrs.

Mae Roman Gibbs. The D'Elia Funeral Home is in charge of ROGER C. ABSON FAIR HAVEN Roger C. Abson, 44, of 203 Dartmouth died yesterday. He lived here for five years.

He was an engineer with Bell Telephone Laboratories, Holmdel Township and was a radio communication code specialist in the British Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife, the former Marjorie Gibson; a daughter, "Cynthia, and a son, Thomas, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Abson, and a sister, Mrs. Cynthia Clinch, England.

Wife of Actor Files For a Separation LOS ANGELES (AP) -Olga O'Brien, wife of actor Edmund O'Brien, has filed for legal separation after 28 years of marriage. Mrs. O'Brien, 48, filed the action Tuesday against the 60-year-old actor.

They were married in 1947 and have three children received he? master's degree from Monmouth College, West Long Branch. She was on the Board of Deacons of the First Presbyterian Church of Asbury Park. Surviving are two sons, Jules Bierach, Eatontown, and Frederick W. Bierach, Harrisburg, Pa. STANLEY E. GROHOWSKI POINT PLEASANT -Stanley E. Grohowski, 58, of 3402 Fairview died yesterday. Mr. Grohowski came here from lrvington 13 years ago.

He was employed as a bus driver for Transport of New Jersey, Newark, and was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, the former Stella Orlowski; a son, Donald, at home; two brothers, Walter, of Clark, and Joseph, Florham Park; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Krakowiak, Florham Park; Mrs. Mary Andrews, and Mrs. Eleanor Kulesza, Clark.

She was the widow of Albert R. Beck, who died in 1970. Surviving arc two sons, James Jackson Heights, N.Y., and Thomas with whom she lived; a daughter, Elaine M. Cincotta, Columbia, her mother, Mrs. Muriel Barela, Eaton-town; three brothers, John Barela, Ridgewootl, N.Y.; Joseph Barela, New York City and William Barela, Teaneck; a sister, Mrs.

Marie Matyasovics, Okinawa, and three grandsons. The John E. Day Funeral is in charge of arrangements. 1 took up residence here with his son, Noble Sissle Jr. One of Sissle's best known compositions was "I'm Just Wild About Harry," which was adapted as a theme song for President Harry S.

Truman's campaign for president in 1948. Sissle entered service in World War I as a private, but became an Army drum major and was' commissioned a second lieutenant. He toured with postwar bands, played vaudeville and wrote the revues, "Shuffle Along" and "Chocolate Dandies." Sissle subsequently formed his own band and toured with it throughout the United States and to London, Paris and Monte Carlo. Among other songs he composed were "You Were Meant for Me," "Gypsy Blues," "Hello Sweetheart, Hello," "Bandana Days," and "Boogie Woogie Beguinc." Sissle was first president of the Negro Actors Guild. Besides his son, Sissle leaves a daughter, Cynthia Hinds of Los Angeles, Calif.

He was divorced some years ago from his wife, Ethel Sissle, who lives in River side, Calif. RAYMOND E. WILSON EAST ORANGE Raymond E. Wilson, 66, of 60 N. Arlington died Tuesday.

Mr. Wilson came here last year from Neptune, where he had been a 30-year resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Hilda; and a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Bamberger, here; a brother, James, Neptune; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

GILLESPIE WALL TOWNSHIP Mrs. Jane L. Gillespie, 62, of 2901 Hayes died yesterday. She retired two years ago as an employe of the Belmar Motor Lodge. She lived in the shore area most of her life.

She was a communicant of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, Belmar. Mrs. Gillespie was the widow of Henry W. Gillespie.

Surviving is a son, Henry South Belmar; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Morgon, Farmingdale; Mrs. Daniel Zonkle, Brick Township, and Mrs. Robert Cooper, here; two sisters, Mrs. G.
