WALL TOWNSHIP Randolph Burdge, 79, died yesterday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Mr. Burdge was a service manager for Belmar Motors for 19 years. Prior to that, he was a service manager for Billy Major's Oldsmobile Dealership, Ocean Grove. He also was a champion bowler and baseball player in the Shore area.

After graduating from high school in Freehold, he played baseball for three years with the semiprofessional Farmingdale Eagles, joining the team in 1928. Mr. Burdge also played in the Shore Twilight League with the Neptune Scarlet Raiders, a team that won Shore and Monmouth County championships in 1936, '37 and '38. He was a league batting champion in 1935. In the '40s, he became a top area bowler, setting a then-record in the Point Pleasant Recreation league with a series of 699 and a high game of 269.

He was a past chief of Bayville Fire Company No. 1 and a charter member of the Toms River Elks Club and the Berkeley Township Historical Society.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bayville. Born in Bayville, he was a lifelong resident of the township. NEILSON, 77, of the Leisure Village West section of Manchester Township, died Friday at home. Mrs. Neilson was a homemaker. She moved to Malverne in 1950 and to Leisure Village West two years ago. Surviving are her husband, Edward a son, Robert Great Falls, two daughters, Nancy E. Fox, New York, and Katharine E. BRUNO, 73, of Point Pleasant Beach, died Friday at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia. Mr. Bruno worked for the maintenance department of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach for 30 years, retiring in 1980. Prior to that, he was a bartender at the old Asbury Park Golf Course. A 1934 graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School, he played on the school's 1933-34 Central Jersey championship basketball team.

Mr. Bruno was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Point Pleasant Beach, and a member of its Holy Name Society. Born in Point Pleasant Beach, he was a lifelong resident of the borough.

Surviving are his wife, the former Lila Morton; two sons, Anthony L. and David both of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Sandra J. Lindstrom, Brick Township, and Linda M.
