MONMOUTH JENNIE MAY PARKER-DAVIS LONG BRANCH Jennie May Parker-Davis, age 82, affectionately known as went to be with her lord and savior on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, after a long illness at Monmouth Care Center, Long Branch. Born in Cliftonville, she was a life resident of Long Branch.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm A. Davis, in 2007; her parents, Curry Parker and Stout Hubbard; four brothers, Rev. Spencer Parker, Ray Parker, CW Parker, and Rev. Leon Parker. Surviving are her sisters, Lugene Stokes, Lucielle Brewer, and Catherine Coleman; a brother, Cal Parker; a beloved great- grandniece and caretaker, Andrea StokesJones and her husband Hank; her nieces, Beverly S.

Bullett and her husband David, and Currie Jean Brewer and her husband John; a nephew, Michael Jones; a sister- in-law, Zenobia Thornton; and a host of family and friends. NJ Lic No. 3869 191 Frankin Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740 CECELIA JOSEPHINE PAYNE AGE: 79 NEPTUNE Cecelia Josephine Payne, 79, of Neptune, was gently taken home to be with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009. She was born to Joseph E. Reed and Cecelia Oliver Reed on Nov.

15, 1929 and was the youngest of six children. Cecelia was educated in the Asbury Park School System, attending Bangs Avenue Elementary School and Asbury Park High School. When Cecelia was in her 20's, she met a serviceman named Leslie Irving Payne Sr. from Brewer, Maine. The two of them were married in the mid1950's.

From this union, they were blessed with a son, Leslie Irving Payne Jr. Cecelia was a member of St. Stephens A.M.E. Zion Church, Asbury Park. Cecelia was an inspirational person that didn't let situations stand in her way.

She truly believed that God could get her through any situation. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed when we all got together. Cecelia was predeceased by her husband, Leslie I. Payne her parents; three brothers, Joseph 0. Reed, William Reed, and Cecil Reed; and a sister, Pearl Reed.

Surviving are her son, Leslie I. Payne Jr. and his wife Shonda Payne of Tinton Falls; a brother, Hudson Reed and his wife Hortence Reed of Ocean Township; three grandsons, Shane Manual of San Antonio, Texas, Marcus Payne of Statesboro, Falls, and Maurice Payne of Tinton Falls; a greatgrandson, Kyan Miles Manual of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of nieces, neph- Visiting hours will be from 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 until time of the funeral at 7 p.m.

TIER AGE: 79 EATONTOWN Edward M. Tier, 79, of Eatontown, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at his residence in Eatontown. He was a retired sergeant first class with the U.S. Army, retiring in 1970 after 20 years of service.

He also worked as a technician for the Lefluerve Co. of New Jersey. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, serving in the Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post Eatontown, and the V.F.W. Post Middletown.

Born in Harwood, he resided in Middletown before moving to Eatontown in 1970. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude I. Tier, in 2006. Surviving are two sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m.

Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 in Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo. All other services are private. Posten's Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, is in charge of arrangements. GEORGE ALBERT "AL" TROMER AGE: 88 TINTON FALLS George Albert "Al" Tromer, 88, of Tinton Falls, died Monday, Feb.

23, 2009, at home. He was the owner of Tromer Plumbing and Heating, Staten. Island, N.Y. for over 30 years, where he was a plumbing and heating contractor before retiring in 1985. He was a veteran of the U.S.

Navy, where his PC 567 was off of -Normandy, France at Dog Green Beach during World War II. He was born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y. Upon: retirement, George moved to Seaville in 1985 before settling in Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls in 2003: George received his BA in Business in 1942 from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. He was an avid peanuckle and bridge player. He enjoyed reading the Wall Street Journal.

He was a good friend to all he knew and will be missed by many. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne Gorman Tromer, in 1990; and a sister, Faith Tromer Oliver. Surviving are his daughter, Barbara Tromer of Staten Island, N.Y.; his son and daughterin-law. George and Jane Tromer of Bridgewater; two grandchildren, Bethany and Thomas Tromer; a sister, Florence Tromer Campbell of Staten Island, N.Y.; and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. A memorial service will be held in his memory at a later date.

OCEAN FREDERICK CARPENTER BROWN AGE: 79 BAY HEAD Frederick Carpenter Brown, 79, of Bay Head, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in New York City, to the late Harry S. and Marjorie Carpenter Brown, he lived in Moorestown and had summered in Bay Head before moving there permanently in 1985. He was an avid bridge player, multiple award winner at the Bay Head Yacht Club, and a Gold Life Master.

Mr. Brown had been employed as an engineer retiring from RCA, Moorestown. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Bay Head Yacht Club and the Toms River Bridge Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Sally McIntyre Brown in 1964. Surviving are three sons, Peter and his wife Nancy of Wall, Harry and his wife Carol of Westfield and Frederick, Jr.

of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Willette Brown and Sandy Nevens of Union, Maine and Dorothy Maffiore land her husband Bob of Brick; and eight grandchildren, Rebecca and Sarah Brown, Amanda Maffiore, Samuel Nevens, Ashley and Peter Brown, and Alexandra and Stephanie Brown. He was born in Red Bank, he moved to Gainesville five years ago from Toms River. John was an automotive service manager. He owned a Corvette, which he loved. He enjoyed computers and his tattoos. Surviving are his wife, Amanda Ellis Casamassima; two stepsons, Patrick and Mark Montalbano; his mother, Angela Casamassima; his grandmother, Vera Agnello; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Kelly Casamassima of Toms River; a sister, Julie Arnold of Keansburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 at Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel West Keansburg. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb.

27, 2009 at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown, with Pastor Matt Thiringer officiating. Elizabeth Rose Cetta, 75, of Brick, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She was born i in New York and resided in Staten Island, N.Y. before moving to Brick nine years ago.

She received her BA degree from Brooklyn College and her Master's degree from Hunter College. She was a retired teacher from the New York City Public School system. Elizabeth was the founder of the Staten Island Quilter's Guild, and a member of the Lionettes in Lions Head South, Brick. She was a communicant of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Brick. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Celia Paneque; and her husband, Thomas Cetta.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Cetta Jr. of Edison, and Charles Cetta of Old Bridge; three daughters, Carolyn Gama of Jackson, Lorraine Cetta of Brick, and Jennifer Adamo of Robbinsville; two brothers, Robert Paneque of Jackson, and Albert Paneque of Staten Isand, N.Y.; a sister, Sarah Dudek of Edison; seven grandchildren, Angelica Celia Gama, Amanda Michele Cetta, Thomas Cetta Sophia Elizabeth Cetta, Charles Albert Cetta, Anthony Joseph Adamo, and Christopher Thomas Adamo; and a future grandchild. He was a crossing guard for Lakewood Police Dept. He was an active volunteer fire police for Lakewood Fire Dept, Station 66. He and his wife Shirley owned and operated the Shoe Surgeon In Eatontown for over 17 years. He devoted much of his life to the fire, first aid and police department in 1 Eatontown and Lakewood. He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Margit David; son, Lenny and granddaughter, Kathy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley David; four sons, Ronnie and wife Irene, Anthony and wife Sharon, Terry and Steven. Mrs. Cody was born March 12, 1920 in Jersey City and lived most of her life in Ridgefield Park before retiring to Manahawkin in 1979. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; three sons, Russell of Jacksonville, Steven of Lincroft, and John of Colts Neck; five grandchildren, Christopher, Catharine, Amanda, Jennifer, and Shannon; and a brother, Arthur of Glen Ellyn, Ill. 22, 2009 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in New York City, he had lived in Bayville for 35 years. Harry was a selfemployed drywall contractor in the Bayville area for many years. He later was employed in the maintenance department of the Ocean County Mall of Toms River, under the management of Simon Corporation. He was affectionately known as "Harry from the Mall," and will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Harry is predeceased by his wife, Margaret Regan Davis in 1982 and by his son, Clinton Chief of Police, James Joseph Davis in 1996. Surviving are his daughters, Donna Cirigliano of Charolette, NC and Theresa Mumm of Cape Coral five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson and especially his dearest friend, Joan Picuri. A memorial gathering of relatives and friends will be offered today, Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Bayville.

PAUL FRANCIS DI MANNO AGE: 62 BEACH HAVEN Paul Francis DiManno, 62, of Hamilton Square, passed away suddenly Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, in Southern Ocean County Hospital, Stafford. Born in Trenton, Mr. DiManno was a lifelong area resident of Hamilton Square, and also had a home in Beach Haven.

He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Class of 1968, and was a second generation owner and president of Crest Paper Products in Trenton. He enjoyed going to the beach and loved the ocean. Predeceased by his parents, Francis Paul and Mary Louise DiManno, he is survived by his children, Francis "Fran" Paul DiManno III of Hamilton, and Katherine "Kat" Mary DiManno of Gainesville, and his longtime girlfriend, Eileen Meade of Yardley, Pa. Family and friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb.

HENRY DUFTY AGE: 94 CRESTWOOD MANOR Henry Dufty, 94, of Crestwood Manor, Whiting, Manchester, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Crestwood Manor. Henry worked for N.J.

Bell, Rahway for 38 years as a communication consultant. He graduated from Rutgers University with an associates degree in business. Henry was a member of the Paramus Masonic Lodge for over 60 years; a World War II staff sergeant in the Army Air Corps, and an active member of the Community Reformed Church, Whiting. Born in North Arlington, Henry lived in Cranford, Paramus, Castlebury, and Leisure Village East, before moving to Crestwood Manor seven years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Grace Dufty, in 2008.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard A. and Patricia Dufty of East Brunswick, Robert H. and Joyce Dufty of North Amityville, N.Y., and Donald H. Dufty of Cranford; a grandson and his wife, Christopher and Karina Dufty; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Dufty. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.

Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 until the funeral service at noon at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting. Interment will be in Brig. Gen. William C.

LOUIS LETWENSKI AGE: 73 FORKED RIVER Louis Letwenski, 73, of Forked River, formerly of South Amboy, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was employed by the Ironworkers Union Local 373, Perth Amboy for 30 years before retiring in 1994.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Delaware Valley Outboard Racing Association, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Born in Keyport, he lived in South Amboy for 15 years and in Forked River for the past 15 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Wanda Letwenski.

Surviving are his wife, Marlene Schachel Letwenski; a daughter, Lynn Fryer of South Amboy; a son, Brian Stratton and his wife Phyllis of South Amboy; four grandchildren, Corinne Ercegovic and her husband Dennis, Matthew, Samantha and Scott Stratton; a brother, Robert Letwenski and his wife Suzan of Vermont; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main South Amboy.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 from the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy.
