She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Wyckoff Township, and its Philoptohos Society and Daughters of Penelope Chapter. Born in Detroit, she lived in Franklin Lakes 3 and Mahwah, moving to Bayville three months ago. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Christopher; a son, Charles, Wyckoff; three daughters, Angela Betts, Elmwood Park, Dawn Jerbert, Ocean Township, and Andrea' Sackman, Irvine, a sister, Elly Papanestor, Toms River; and four grandchildren.

Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals at St. Catherine's Boulevard, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements. OCEAN THEODORE MALCOLM BRICKLEY, 89, of Whiting, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He retired in 1973 as foreman from the Plainfield Lumber Co.

after 25 years. He was a member of the Old Guard of Pine Ridge, the Pine Ridge Safety Patrol, and a former member of the Beachwood Seniors. Born in Rising Sun, he lived in North Plainfield, moving to Whiting in 1980. His wife, Dorothy Brickley, died 1991, and his son, Theodore, in $1995. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth B.

Velez, China, Maine, and Kathleen M. Brickley, Whiting; 'a sister, Elizabeth Feiring, Media, five grandsons; and five greatgrandchildren. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Whiting, "is in charge of arrangements. MAURICE E. CARROLL, 75, of TOMS RIVER, died Thursday at Brick Hospital.

He was a self-employed machinist for Trico Machine Newark, for 20 years. He later was a maintenance manager at Brick Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1994. He was a World War II Army veteran, and received the Heart. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 711, Bloomfield, and a communicant of St. Justin's Roman Catholic Toms River.

Mr. Carroll was born in Brooklyn and lived in Bloomfield and in East Orange before moving to Toms River 25 years ago. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Margaret "Peggy" Carroll; two sons, Dennis Willingboro, and Kevin Jackson Township; a daughter, Maureen C. Giacobbe, Lanoka Harbor, Lacey Township; a sister, Joyce Myer, Augusta, FrankJin Township; and four grandchil'dren. Kedz Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.

NATHAN J. COHEN, 73, of Holiday City West, BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at home. He was the of Atlas Flash, New York, for 30 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Jewish Club of Ocean County. Born in New York, he lived in Queens and In White Plains, N.Y., moving to Berkeley in 1984.

Surviving are his wife, Estelle Gruskey Cohen; three sons, David, Georgia, Steven, New Jersey, and Philip Zeifer, Rye, N.Y.; two brothers, Leslie Cohen, New York, and Arlene Grimmer, Norwalk, two brothers, his twin, Louis, Queens, and Al, North Hollywood, a sister, Zelda Jaffe, Orlando, and four grandchildren. DORION, 65, of JACK- SON TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at home. He was a custodian for the Jackson Township Board of Education for six months. He was a also a postal carrier in Jackson and Parlin, Sayreville, for 31 years, retiring In 1992. He was a Marine Corps veteran, having received the Navy Occupational Medal Clasp and the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 504, Jackson, Marine Corps League, Cpl.

Philip A. Reynolds, Freehold, and Jackson Senior Citizens. He was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Partin, moving to Jackson in 1976.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Ruth Ann Becallo Dorion; a son, Andrew Englishtown; a sister, Cecilia Stark, 1 Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; and a grandson. George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, is in charge of arrangements. PETER J. FLOOD, 78, of LAKEHURST, formerly of Bradley Beach, died yesterday at Bartley Manor Nursing Home, Jackson Township.

He retired in 1982 after 42 years with New Jersey Bell Telephone Theodore J. Golubowski, 57, served on Lavallette council LAVALLETTE Theodore J. Golubowski, the superintendent of public works and a former borough councilman, died Thursday in Seminole, while on vacation. He was 57. He was a councilman from 1982 to 1989 and served as council president.

He began heading the public works department in 1989. Mr. Golubowski retired in 1988 as a graphics arts teacher from Bloomfield High School, after 29 years. He was a state-certified principal public works manager since 1992, municipal director of civil defense and disaster control since 1989, emergency management coordinator of operations since 1984, a licensed public wastewater collection systems officer since 1994, municipal recycling coordinator since 1989 and also served as municipal director of welfare from 1990 to 1994. He was a life member of the Lavallette Volunteer Fire Company 1, serving for 25 years and also a 25-year member of the Lavallette First Aid Squad, where he served as president and also held the office of captain.

He served on the borough's recrea- Co. He was a World War II Army veteran. He served on the Bradley Beach Board of Education, and as a commissioner in Bradley Beach. He was a former communicant of Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach, and a member of its Holy Name Association. He was a communicant of St.

John's Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst, and was manager of the Tri-Boro Little League of Bradley Beach, Neptune City and Avon. He was a graduate of St. Rose High School. Born in Bradley Beach, he lived there most of his life, moving to Lakehurst in 1982. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Mildred M.

Thunell Flood; seven sons, Peter, Maxwell Air Force Base, Robert, Arizona, Richard, West Milford, John, Point Pleasant Beach, Francis, New London, N.H., Dennis, Wall Township, and Thomas, Fayetteville, N.C.; two daughters, Betsy Ryan, Spring Lake, and Kathy Ambros, Jackson Township; a brother, Charles, Denison, Texas; a sister, Grace Rible, Belmar; and 18 grandchildren. Reilly Funeral Home, Belmar, is in charge of arrangements. JOHN V. GAITA, 72, of BRICK TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Brick Hospital. He retired in 1988 as production manager from Tenco Morris Plains, after 34 years.

He was a member of St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, and the American Legion Post 348, both of Brick. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Born in Jersey City, 1 he lived in Rutherford, moving to Brick 10 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Zampaglione Gaita; two sons, Anthony and Joseph, and a daughter, Jennifer Murray, all of Brick; a brother, Carmine, Jersey City; four sisters, Mary Pladade, Union Township, Frances Guerra, Toms River, Anna LoPresto, Jersey City, and Jean Orrico, Arizona; and four grandchildren.

Colonial Funeral Home, Brick, is in charge of arrangements. ERICH O. HAHN, 93, of LAVA- LLETTE, died Thursday at Claremont Care Center, Point Pleasant. She was a hosiery knitter at Pohatcong Knitting Mills, Washington, for 40 years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of the Washington Maenner Chor Moose.

Born in Germany, she lived in Washington, moving to Lavallette five years ago. Surviving are a son, Frederick, Lavallette; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Timothy Ryan Home for Funerals, Lavallette, is in charge of arrangements. LILLIAN E. KOBB HALL, 84, of Lanoka Harbor, LACEY TOWN- SHIP, died yesterday at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Eatontown.

She was a Roselle Park Republican Committeewoman from 1961 to 1962. Mrs. Hall was born in Elizabeth and lived in Roselle Park and Monmouth Beach, moving to Lanoka Harbor in 1988. Her husband, George Kobb, died in 1964. Surviving are her son, Paul Lanoka Harbor; a brother, Irwin Carter, Roselle; two sisters, Elma Finwall, North Carolina, Bertaux tion committee.

He was also an exempt member of the Glen Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. A member of the Lavallette Regular Republican. Club, he was liaison to Ocean County Community Services, and president of the Public Power Association of New Jersey. Mr. Golubowski was born in Yonkers, N.Y., and lived in Glen Ridge before moving here 24 years ago.

He lived in the West Point Island section. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Karpinski Golubowski; two sons, Theodore J. Toms River, and John Burlington, two daughters, Kimberly A. and Christine A. Golubowski, both here; two sisters, Vera Stoker, Seminole, and Joan Keigher, Glen Ridge; and two grandchildren.

Layton's Home For Funerals, Forked River, is in charge of arrangements. ROBERT THOMAS HEURING, 48, of Newton, formerly of POINT PLEASANT, died Thursday at home.

He was a commercial fisherman on the Jersey Shore. Mr. Heuring was born in Elizabeth and lived in Point Pleasant before moving to Newton several years ago. Surviving are two brothers, Richard, Jackson Township, and William, New York; two sisters, Judy Bennette, Point Pleasant, and Barbara Peak, Salisbury, and his companion, Robert Galione, Newton. JOHN F. HOPP, 84, of JACKSON TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. He was a truck driver and heavy rescue driver at Hoffman-LaRoche, Nutley, for 27 years, retiring in 1978. Mr. Hopp was born in Newark and lived in Cliffwood Beach, Aberdeen Township, moving to Jackson 21 years ago.

His son, John died in 1980. Surviving are his wife, Helen D. Pisciotta Hopp; a son, Robert, Montville; a stepdaughter, Marguerite Keegan, Wyomissing, two sisters, Elizabeth Lay, Lakeland, and June Sudol, Passaic; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. DANIEL E. LYNCH, 75, of Crestwood Village, Whiting, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
